Join us in ceremony, celebration and sacred space for the 1st Harvest Rite of Thanksgiving in the Great Wheel of the Year. The Rite of Lammas, also known as Lughnasadh, is the celebration of the first loaf of bread baked (loaf-mass) and a time of great thanksgiving for the community and abundance that surrounds us. This Rite is an offering of gratitude to the Great Mother for the active growth part of the cycle and a tribute to the coming abundance in the Harvest. In this Rite, we bring attention to how we show the Great Mother and others gratitude, the balance between giving and receiving and the fertile abundance and love between the sacredness of creation between the God and the Goddess.

This ceremony is part of the Open Coven of TCOTM that resides at The Rock Store, founded by Lady Samantha in 2009. The Open Coven follows a feminine centered Dianic Wiccan tradition focussing on the 8 sabbats and how the Goddess and God live through our own lives. These rituals support women's cycles, healing, and support through all stages of life.
