You’re invited to an afternoon of weaving with Kathleen, the fibre artist behind Colour Coven in collaboration with The Rock Store.
Take some time for yourself over this full season to tune in with your creativity, learn a new skill, connect with others or give this as a thoughtful gift experience to someone who could use a quiet outlet to create.
Choose to create either one 8” round weaving or three smaller weavings ideal for holiday gifting.
All the tools you’ll need will be at your fingertips, including a beautiful Wintry palette of premium, locally-sourced fibres from female-led businesses across Canada.
This will be a one-of-a-kind piece of fibre art and skills to last a lifetime!
Included:
- Choice of one 8” Warped hoop frame loom(s) or three 3” frame looms
- Premium, locally-sourced fibres
- Tapestry needle
- Metal charm accessory

Teacher: Kathleen Yamazaki of Colour Coven
About the Teacher:
Kathleen Yamazaki started Colour Coven in 2020 from her home in Toronto when her fibre obsession needed more of an outlet, all with two kids at home in the lock down days. Since then she’s developed her shaggy textural style and shared her fibre love on the market circuit, through larger and smaller scale commissions, through weaving kits, in small shops and on gallery walls.
